Spring and Autumn are the ideal times to explore the Conero through its paths.
While in summer the view of the mountain from its beaches gives a sense of well-being that only the green and blue together can give you when it is so hot, in the less hot seasons immerse yourself in the greenery of the Conero Park gives energy to the 5 senses.
To be able to fully activate: sight, hearing, smell, throat and touch is that luxury that only on rare occasions we are allowed to have.
During the day, Monte Conero offers the opportunity to enjoy enchanting views from dawn to dusk; during the night, Monte Conero is the immense balcony from which to observe the stars and planets with their alignments.
If you are then allowed to enjoy it in complete silence, at most with the noises of the mountain, you can really touch the beauty of creation.
The scent of the mountain reaches its maximum expression in spring, but also in autumn, when the less intense scents of nature that blooms, is replaced by the smells of the rough sea and the harvest.
Touching the stones in their most varied forms, colours and sizes allows you to relax your mind and you can also sometimes meet with someone who has made balance stone her fleeting artistic expression, but also an intense opportunity for peace of mind. It is difficult to define a feeling that can have very personal manifestations of well-being, even for those who stop only to observe.
In short, it is no coincidence that in this mountain - populated by hermits since the year 1000 -, there were to live, eat, observe and enjoy.
Fruits of land and sea, have become then a culinary art to cradle and protect: as much as nature could offer, here has been cultivated.
The earth gives its fruits to those who respect and love it. Here ancient cultures have been resumed, set with vines and fruits, left to spread and root shrub plants with multiple properties, becoming, for those who want, a source of valuable research and applications.
Here the mollusk from which the purple was extracted proliferates, here the strawberry tree whose colours inspired the colours of the Italian flag is depopulated, here the broom has found its own paradise and the vine has taken root producing a ruby red wine that smells of fruit.
If you want to study the shades of color, here the range is complete, the sky itself takes on shades that fade and escape quickly behind the wind and sunlight.
Here you can observe nature in its most artistic expression. After thunderstorms, there are frequent representations of the sun's rays that penetrate the clouds and then arrive to radiate a detail, a bell tower, a church, a village and be surprised by the fulminating beauty of a sky after the storm. In this way we can capture the genius of those painters who have fixed in their works scattered throughout the churches, the frame of a midsummer evening.
Here it is as if nature had suggested to man what to do and not do, but even men and women have let nature be the teacher.
We would never want to see that teaching fail.
There are 18 paths in the Conero Park that take you to these places marked by beauty: come and discover it.
